About
I didn't come to manufacturing from marketing.
I'm Joe Sikorski. I run Aero Media Group, a one-person business development shop for injection molders, mold makers and machine shops across the Northeast.
How I got here
Raised around molding, trained in sales
My family's background in injection molding is at Seitz, now Aptyx, in Torrington, about twenty minutes from where I work now. I learned the industry the way a lot of people here do: in a father-and-son mentorship with my dad, an applications engineer. That opened his network to me, and with it the kind of trust and tribal knowledge you only get from people who've been doing this for thirty years.
I started my career as a solutions engineer in managed IT services, a technical, high-trust business with the same long cycles and the same skepticism of vendors as manufacturing. After NPE2024 I started working with processors and machine shops on getting real return out of HubSpot, and I haven't worked outside plastics since.
What grew my understanding of this industry was plant visits and conversations on the floor. I've developed a real appreciation for how much complexity and ingenuity goes into a part that ends up costing forty cents.
I've spent my whole career in CRM and business development, and I've watched sales and marketing tools come and go. What stays constant in this industry is the people. My clients are engineers and operators, and my job is making sure the good work they do gets seen.
How I work
What working with me looks like
You work with me
Aero Media is one person on purpose. The person on the first call is the person doing the work. No account managers, and no junior staff learning on your account.
I know the floor
Family molds, hot runners, PPAP, cycle time, and why a quote can live or die on lead time. You won't spend the first call explaining your business.
Fixed scope, set price
Every engagement has a written list of what's included and a clear end state, so you know what you're paying for before we start.
Outside Aero Media
Where the industry knowledge comes from
Alongside Aero Media, I work with my father on DFM reviews and program management for new product launches. I don't sell that work here, but it's how I learned what a good-fit job looks like, how tooling decisions show up in a quote, and why the people who've done this for decades are the best source of work.
Tell me what's broken.
30 minutes on Zoom or Teams. You'll leave knowing which fix comes first, whether you hire me or not.
